Enjoying God's Creation

We were blessed to be able to get away from the city last weekend and enjoy seeing some of God's amazing creation.  We were able to visit the Arenal Volcano.  We took about a 4 hour bus trip to the area and spent Friday and Saturday night.  We ate some yummy food and even had a few adventures.  Chris and the girls went zip-lining on Saturday and Danica & I went horseback riding on Sunday.

As if the scenery wasn't beautiful enough, there were horses running.

 

Much to our delight, they ran down the mountain and came right past us!  Beautiful!

Thankfully, the clouds cleared long enough for us to get a good view of the volcano Sunday morning.

 This is Katie on the zipline.

 This was our pit stop during horseback riding.  The volcano should be in the background, but it was too overcast to really see it.  It was a spectacular view anyway.
