Today was our last Sunday in Costa Rica. It is easy to remember our first Sunday, since we couldn't understand much of anything. We feel so blessed to have been able to understand the message today out of 2 Kings, a message about how everyone can be a missionary, by being a Christian and choosing to tell others the Good News!
Buenas noticias, means good news in Spanish. How exciting to think of all the missionaries we have all over the world, working in all sorts of jobs, teaching in schools, studying in Universities, volunteering, parenting, coaching soccer, the list could go on forever. Please do not think that if what you do was not mentioned that you don't matter, because living for Christ does matter. The world is full of people hungering and starving for something........and we have the answer! Jesus Christ is the answer and isn't that good news? Don't be silent when you have the opportunity to share the love of Christ with someone who is hungry and seeking truth. Today is a day of Good News! Share it!

And last, but not least, Katie celebrated her 8th birthday in Costa Rica.
Prayer requests and praises:
Please pray for us as we say our goodbyes this week. We knew we were only going to be here a year, but somehow our hearts forgot that. We praise God for putting us in classes with people and teachers that He knew would be perfect for us and now we will forever be family, but as always goodbyes are hard.
Please also pray for our family as we make the long journey home with many suitcases. We are excited to see family and friends, but it is going to be a long day of travel.
Lastly, Chris has been having some sinuses problems here and was told he would need to follow-up with an ENT in the States to discuss his options. We are praising the Lord he feels much better now with different antibiotics, but please pray for us to have wisdom in making decisions.
