La Iglesia - The Church

We wanted to share about the church we attend here in San Jose.  We walk about 10 minutes each Sunday to come to worship with other believers.  The praise and worship and the sermon are all in Spanish.  We have enjoyed learning new songs and trying to figure out what that tune is with "new words".  It is a blessing to be able to sing praises to our Lord and Savior.  The girls go to Sunday School after the praise and worship time.  Danica even has a class to go to that Chris and I are going to be helping to teach.  We are excited about this opportunity.

Every Sunday after the offering, they pray a blessing over the tithe that has been given. 

 

 Psalm 86:9
All the nations you have made shall come and worship before you, O Lord, and shall glorify your name.

 

 



Museo de los Niños

We were able to go to the children's museum in San Jose yesterday and here are some of the pictures.......

It is a beautiful building that used to be a prison.

We had a great time at the museum, checking out the exhibits and trying to translate the sentences that were of course in spanish.  The girls loved the hands-on aspect.  It was a great place to enjoy a day of family fun.
